Posi Quiet Ceramic Brake Pads Reviews

Good pads

Reviewed By Carlton S (Aspen, CO) Reviewed for a 2010 Ford Flex —10/9/2014 8:44 PM

I installed these on a 2010 Ford Flex with a reflashed ecoboost engine, a relatively heavy, powerful car that needs all the help it can get in the braking department. The installation was straightforward (as with any vehicle, there are some model specific steps that have to be followed). The pads bedded quickly and provide equal stopping power to the stock pads that they replaced, at considerable less cost.

Installed the Wagner Brake Pads on the front of my Acura myself. No extra shims or grease required on sides of pads like cheaper brands. Instructions on importance of using new included hardware was helpful to do job properly.Had proper fit & quiet operation. Couldn't be happier!

EBC Ultimax Brake Pads Reviews

Could be quieter

Reviewed By Craig S (Lomita, CA) Reviewed for a 2013 Toyota Corolla —6/9/2016 9:18 AM

No shims included, had to use existing double shims from the old factory brake pads. Factory pads have spring clip riveted to hold pad in place, these have no clip, dont notice a difference other than a noise when I release brakes. When im stopped and take my foot off the brake pedal, there is a strange noise that was never there prior. The pads stop great, better than factory pads. No squeal, smooth, medium dust. Not sure I would buy again due to noise when releasing brakes.
