SSBC Drum to Disc Brake Conversion Kits Reviews

Need more guidance

Reviewed By John M (OCALA, FL) Reviewed for a 1989 Ford Mustang —10/26/2013 4:37 AM

Overall, the kit is excellent. All parts that are needed for normal install were there and easy to install with thier directions. I believe that they need to make people with mods done to cars, more aware of some potential problems, like in my case with a cam that will not create the vacuum needed. They do sell vacuum pumps, but don't tell you ahead of time. Almost like they are afraid to tell, in thinking that customers might change mind if they add up cost ahead of time.

What a steal!

Reviewed By Charles R (FOUNTAIN, CO) Reviewed for a 2012 Ford Mustang —11/28/2015 1:18 PM

After getting quoted approximately $1500+ for new rotors and brakes on my 2012 GT500 I decided to look for a more affordable solution to this problem. I found these and have to say they are just as good if not better than the OEM Rotors and pads. Great feel when stopping and almost too easy to install.

Looks great

The kit was a really good deal, the installation would be a piece of cake but there was one piece on two of the pads that continued to pop off few times. The breaking feels a little to soft and airy hence only four out of five stars
