StopTech Slotted Brake Rotors Reviews

Power Slot Cryo Rotors on Ford Taurus stationwagon

Reviewed By Max Y (Trumbull, CT) Reviewed for a 2003 Ford Taurus —11/17/2010 9:51 AM

I'm tired of replacing the front brakes every 30K miles on my wife's 2003 Ford Taurus stationwagon. The OEM rotors start to warp around 25K and OEM pads wears out soon after. Mostly highway driving and we don't ride the brakes. Our other cars' brakes last 75K plus. I also put on a set of Hawk performance pads with the Power Slot Cryo rotors. My initial impression is- didn't notice any difference- stops OKAY. The real judgement is will they last longer than the OEM parts for the extra money? I'll tell you later.

Had them on now for about a week. Did improve braking performance I would say 15% on my 11 sho pp that impressive when the car is 5600lbs. There quite too. ( just maker sure there installed correctly and you fallow the break in procedures. That only two things I wish they would change is the rear rotors do not have center vents but yet again they only cost 350.00 for front and rears. And lighter front rotors

Since I changed my brakes with high performance rotors and pads by Hawk my car's stopping performance is excellent at any speed.
