Power Slot Cryo Rotors on Ford Taurus stationwagon

Reviewed By Max Y (Trumbull, CT) Reviewed for a 2003 Ford Taurus —11/17/2010 9:51 AM

I'm tired of replacing the front brakes every 30K miles on my wife's 2003 Ford Taurus stationwagon. The OEM rotors start to warp around 25K and OEM pads wears out soon after. Mostly highway driving and we don't ride the brakes. Our other cars' brakes last 75K plus. I also put on a set of Hawk performance pads with the Power Slot Cryo rotors. My initial impression is- didn't notice any difference- stops OKAY. The real judgement is will they last longer than the OEM parts for the extra money? I'll tell you later.

No more shimmy shimmy car no stop

Reviewed By Travis C H (PALM DESERT, CA) Reviewed for a 2008 Ford Taurus —12/6/2017 12:38 PM

No more shaking on those long runs down the mountain pass. I drive 87 miles one way over a mountain pass in the Coachella valley. My Ford used to shake violently when I depressed the brakes after a few slow downs. Installed these new rotors, and that problem disappeared! They're quiet, and I can feel the grip! Great buy!
