easy money

I`ve never done brakes before , always had a shop to do it. Thought I'd give it a go. Watched a you-tube video and away I went. The only Hitch was my truck although its a 1999 is actually a 1998. GM changed the body style and brakes later in the year. Actually found this out when I bought some spyder headlights and had to return them because of this. So I bought a Torx Bit but actually needed a 3/8 allen key. After that took me about 1.5hrs and away I went. So what would of cost me around $500

Great stopping power

These are some great brakes! I am only buying drilled and slotted rotors from now on! These are incredible! I noticed a huge difference in stopping power and distance right away.

Probably the best pads I've installed on my GMC

Reviewed By Dan C (Canby, OR) Reviewed for a 1997 GMC C/K 1500 —2/17/2012 9:37 AM

The pads really are quiet and I haven't seen any dust generate from using these, which historically would be an issue with ceramic pads. It is nice touch of convenience they include lubricant to use on the caliper bolts. If you haven't replaced your own pads before, the only thing that takes much time is getting your rotors turned. The rest is very quick and simple. Be sure to "branish" them after installation (follow directons on the box). It will seem it takes more effort to brake at first, but they seems to get better as you them.
