StopTech Slotted Brake Rotors Reviews

Good OEM Replacement

Reviewed By Joseph R (Alexandria, VA) Reviewed for a 2008 Lexus RX 350 —6/18/2011 5:53 AM

I just bought these rotors (front and back) and replaced them last Sunday. Installation as with all brake jobs, was pretty easy. This rotor was not directionally slotted as i thought that it would be, but it doesn't really matter to me. This was a replacement for a Lexus RX 350, and it is driven in the Washington DC area (Heavy Traffic). I bedded in the brakes just to prevent any issues/warping. No issues. The brakes stop well, my wife is the normal driver of this car, so the few times that i have driven the car in the past week, i did not notice a dramatic increase or decrease in performance. I paired these rotors with the PosiQuiet Ceramic pads. So far, everything is super quiet. No issues. Overall a good OEM replacement, stops are good and feel solid. Same as what i would have expected from an OEM replacement.

EBC Sport Rotors Reviews

Very satisfied

Reviewed By Chandrasekhara V (Ashburn, VA) —6/15/2011 10:00 AM

I bought the EBC slotted and dimpled rotors along with Red Stuff pads for my 2004 Lexus ES 330 for all wheels. The braking is excellent and the car stops on a dime. I compared the heat generated on the wheels prior to putting these new rotors and with the new rotors for a 40 mile drive and observed that the heat generated is much lower with the new ones. I am pleased. The one gripe I have is, I ordered "gold" color for both front and rear, but AutoAnything delivered "black" color for the front and "gold" color for the rear. I was initially reluctant to put these different colors but went ahead anyway. After driving for 40 miles, the good thing is that, all the rotors turned "silvery" color and it was ok. Chandra

Power Stop Cross Drilled and Slotted Rotors Reviews

crimson man

These rotors were replacing chinese rotors which were beyond terrible, however I have not had them on my silverado but about ten days and it is hard to make a total analysis at such an early stage . My problem is I live on a mountain and it takes some serious brakes to handle a six thousand pound truck and these power stop rotors appear to do the trick just fine.
