I can't tell that much of a difference from the old ones.

Fronts did not come with backing plates, so I reused the old ones on my previous brake pads. Previously had autozone duralast golds on my 07 accord but they tend to squeak while braking. These are quiet and brake really good. Haven't compared brake dust because it has been raining in Southern california recently. Duralast golds covered my front wheels with brake dust. Was going to replace with the warranty but was having problems with my local autozones. So switched to these and glad I did.

I am retracting what I said in a prior review. During my last brake pad replacement, I ran into problems with brake calipers. Through a process of elimination 1) possible bad resurfacing of the rotors and 2) possible bad calipers, I eventually found that the calipers were bad. Because I didn't resurface the rotors and HPS 5.0 pads after the multiple changes, the brakes didn't work properly. Hawk recommended 200 grit sanding of pads and rotors and rebedding as recommended. IT WORKED!
