EBC Ultimax Slotted Rotors Reviews

Best Rotors

Reviewed By Joey W (BALTIMORE, MD) Reviewed for a 2009 Honda Civic —2/8/2016 8:45 PM

These are the best Rotors I ever bought for my 09 Civic Ex coupe. My car is my DD and sometimes a little racing Street/Drag... They definitely increase stopping power.. I also have EBC The Green Stuff brake pads that match perfectly with the rotors, they work great with each other.. I definitely recommend them!!

Great Brakes

Reviewed By Bruce D (Saint Louis, MO) Reviewed for a 2008 Honda Civic —1/6/2016 4:47 PM

I bought these for a Honda Civic SI as I felt these would be perfect for daily driving with occasional spirited driving (no racing here). These brakes look great and were easy to install, they come with the brake lubricant in two purple packets labeled "H/D Brake and Clutch Lubricant Ceramlubr 2800°F Swiss Ceramic Formula www.ceramlub.com" so you do not need to buy brake lube separately. Brake in was easy and the brakes are nice and quiet with more than adequate braking and low dust.

Great Rotors

Reviewed By Darrel W (North Easton, MA) Reviewed for a 2008 Honda Civic —12/1/2015 5:07 AM

I have used EBC ultimax rotors before, and decided to give these a try, given a big promotion going on. The installation depends on your experience installing brakes. I had no trouble installing these, and following a break-in period, they help stop distance decrease significantly. There is a slight hum due to the dimples and slots, but if you don't mind that, they're great. Note: EBC rotors and pads do not need to be bedded in, rather just light braking for 500-1000 miles.
