EBC Slotted Rotors and Yellowstuff Brake Pads

Reviewed By John P (Spokane Valley, WA) Reviewed for a 1995 Honda Civic —9/17/2008 3:46 PM

I did the combo EBC slotted rotors and Yellowstuff pads and have been extremely happy since the install. I drive a 95 Civic Sedan EX with a custom turbo. I spent a few hours on a Saturday and bled my entire brake fluid system and upgraded to dot 3-4, then installed the rotors and pads. After fininshing the install I followed the break-in (brake in) instructions and have been extremely happy with the discs. I race my car in autocross and 1/4 mi. and my old stock discs had been pushed to their limit. I'm looking forward to autocrossing this weekend and seeing the performance difference with these new discs.

Great, durable, affordable, disty

Reviewed By Alex G (Allston, MA) Reviewed for a 2012 Honda Civic —6/24/2015 9:08 PM

Amazing pad for the price, and it stands up to regular autocross and the a few relatively intense track days per year. They do dust A LOT, and the dust is a dark, heavily staining grime. I haven't used any other heavy-duty/high-performance pads, but my understanding from other people at the track is that they are all like this. Overall a great pad if you're looking for something with a lot more bite and power than stock pads, but are willing to deal with dusty wheels.

Good pads, moderately priced

Seems to be significant upgrade to stopping power over stock. Only complaint I could say is I wish you could pick colors for different pad composition i.e. green stuff compound but red paint on pads. I know it's how they designate their pads but, this could factor to some people.
