"Replaced the rotors on my 2004 Grand Cherokee with these rotors. I was experiencing some wobble and brake fade which led me to look at several replacement options. These fit the ticket. They work great with the Hawk LTS pads. Vehicle stops much better. Couldn't be happier." —Gregory R from Slidell, LA bought a StopTech SportStop Slotted Brake Rotors for a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
"They've been installed & used only for 1 week. The braking is excellent & quiet.
I was surprised at the "REVERSE SLOT & DRILL pattern" directions which i opposite of my previous (3 yr. old) slotted rotors, which braked OK, but developed a warp within one year.
So far, completely satisfied & confident." —Stephen L from Larchmont, NY bought a Baer Decela Sport Rotors for a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
"replaced all 4 rotors/pads on 2004 Grand Cherokee. pads had about 55000as did rotors. rotors wore down grove of about 1/16 inch and had ripples , Now stops are smoother with no wiggles." —Kenneth M from Millersville, MD bought an EBC Ultimax Slotted Rotors for a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
"I drive a 2002 sport trac. I paid a shop $650 to do my first brake job at around 50K miles. They did a terrible job that resulted in loose/missing caliper bolts, warped rotors and they never changed the brake fluid. The rotors were trashed after 18K miles, but the pads looked nearly new.
This time I did it myself with good parts, properly torqued and loctited bolts and brake fluid replacement. I used the Hawk Ceramic pads with the Cryo Power Slots and Penzoil D0T3. I can feel a difference in the pedal. Braking starts at the first touch of the pedal and I am able to trip the ABS on dry pavement when stomping on it. There is no brake squeal from these pads. I think new fluid contributed a lot to the feel in the pedal. The rotor and pads seem to be an improvement during panic stops. Time will tell if these rotors last." —Kurt P from Corrales, NM bought a StopTech SportStop Cryo Slotted Brake Rotors for a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
