Great Stopping Power

Reviewed By Jeremy J (Kent, WA) Reviewed for a 1996 Jeep Cherokee —8/11/2016 9:05 AM

The Green pads went on my daily driven Jeep. After installing bigger tires with my lift, the factory brakes were seriously lacking. I changed to EBC pads and smooth rotors in the front and the braking power has been very much improved. Huge difference. The pads were pretty thick, which made them a little difficult to squeeze over the rotor. Also, the pads squeak a bit at lower speeds, but that's pretty normal for high performance pads. Overall, I'm satisfied.

Luv'em

Reviewed By MIGUEL M (Milford, CT) Reviewed for a 2001 Jeep Cherokee —10/25/2013 12:14 AM

Installed a set of these pads on my 01 Cherokee over two years ago and have driven with them from sunny Arizona all the way to the east coast and places in between and back and I'm still amazed as to their grabbing power, durability and low dust. They feel better than ceramic and OEM pads and have kept me out of trouble in more than one occasion even when braking on rain and snow. Getting ready to replace the first pair and I luv 'em.

Lots of dust

Reviewed By JOHN D (Buena Park, CA) Reviewed for a 1990 Jeep Cherokee —10/26/2011 7:38 AM

I've always used stock pads in the past and never had an issue with brake dust on my one-off custom centerlines, but the description was clear...these are NOT low dust/no dust pads. I guess it's a trade-off for greater stopping power (yes, I can feel the difference. I now cary a dust rag in the door panel to wipe the wheels after any trip. Lots of traffic in SOCAL. It only takes about 3-4 miles and a few stops to coat the rims enough to notice.
