EBC Yellow Stuff Brake Pads Reviews

The problem with Brakes is they just slow you down

Reviewed By Michael r (cypress, TX) Reviewed for a 2014 Jeep Wrangler —5/23/2016 6:11 AM

I have always been interested in EBC brakes but always have used PowerStop and other large names. these pads do what they are supposed to: Smooth controlled braking with plenty of grip. They returned the stopping performance my oversize tires and heavily geared Jeep had when new. cant comment on dust -I have black wheels. Will be curious to see the lifespan of these pads

EBC Brake Kits Reviews

Good brake kit

Reviewed By kyle w (ROYAL OAK, MI) Reviewed for a 2004 Dodge Ram —5/23/2016 4:59 PM

I finally got fed up with cheap brake kits and decided to get a decent set. So far so good, everything arrived as described as usual from auto anything. Break in process was pretty quick (going back and forth in a 20 foot driveway a dozen times, lots of vibration during break-in). Stopping ability is phenomenal compared to crappy kits. I only did the front and when the back is ready i will use ebc again for sure. As long as they last a long time i will be completely satisfied.

EBC Sport Rotors Reviews

Nice pads/rotors, so far

Reviewed By Karl G (Yorktown, VA) Reviewed for a 2011 GMC Yukon XL —5/19/2016 8:53 PM

They look nice. I put the sport rotor and yellow pads on my yukon 4wd for fun. The existing brakes worked fine, but I wanted to mix things up a little. Not hard to install (no clips though). The first 2 miles.... grinding, crunching, squealing, but then the black finish was suddenly gone and they sounded smooth. You can hear the windy-sound of them. They work as good as the originals, but I have not tested them (the instructions call for a 1000 mile break-in period. What's that all about?)
