Power Stop OEK Ceramic Brake Kits Reviews

BobC

Reviewed By Robert C (Cuba, NY) Reviewed for a 2011 Jeep Patriot —9/5/2014 1:51 AM

I had to have rear brakes put on my wife's Jeep Patriot last year and it cost me over $300.00+ through the Dealership. This year while it was at the Dealership for a oil change they told me it needed front brakes art the same cost. So I got on line and went to the AutoAnything site and ordered the Powerstop Ceramic front brake kit for less than $85.00 with free shipping. I put them on them on the car about a week after I received them. They went on super easy and work great.

2008 Jeep Patriot rotor & pad replacement

Reviewed By Rodney M (Cameron, MO) Reviewed for a 2008 Jeep Patriot —8/1/2012 6:10 AM

Installation was typical with front rotors coming off harder than rear. The Power Stop Brake kit installed well and gave my Patriot a superb braking feel it has never had before. Service from autoanything was great as usual. I recommend them as well as their products. Rod in Missouri

Break in

Unfortunately following installation the right wheel on my 645ci decided to take a different direction than that which i was turning. According to the repair shop the bolts stripped out of the rotor. Now I don't know if I didn't have the bolts torked in all the way as I thought I did or not. But the wheel staid on for 6.5 miles with the noise of the pads getting seated. The question yet to be answered is: did the threads in the rotor fail, or what? Tore up the right fender, trashed the sway bar
