These brakes went on easy (2012 Jeep Patriot), have a larger surface area than OEM, and were silent from the very first use.

The Green pads went on my daily driven Jeep. After installing bigger tires with my lift, the factory brakes were seriously lacking. I changed to EBC pads and smooth rotors in the front and the braking power has been very much improved. Huge difference. The pads were pretty thick, which made them a little difficult to squeeze over the rotor. Also, the pads squeak a bit at lower speeds, but that's pretty normal for high performance pads. Overall, I'm satisfied.

Great fit, easy break in and so far Quiet! The pads I replaced where installed by a GM dealer DRY, no lube, no CRC silicone to prevent vibrations that cause squeaking. Probably had to beat flat rate to make a living. Lately they were grinding as though worn out and eating into the rotors but probably had another 10,000 miles left on them. Stealership charged $64++ for their POS pads and $85 labor for a "Brake Special". I did it myself in 2 hours, no lift and just regular hand tools.
