Save money and still perform

Reviewed By Brian M (Colts Neck, NJ) Reviewed for a 2012 Kia Rio —4/12/2018 3:35 AM

I'm a weekend novice racer (Porsche 911). I put these on my `12 Kia Rio commuter. (40 miles each way). I only have about 300 miles on them... so far so good. Not only do they bite well, there is no fade and no squeal. Break in procedure was easy. The construction of the rotors and pads seam of good quality but only time will tell. Sub $300 cross drilled and slotted rotors with ceramic pads for 4 wheels? Let's see how they last threw a year of north east weather and an aggressive driver

Good product for the money but expect to reuse your old hardware

Reviewed By Ronald T (EAST ISLIP, NY) Reviewed for a 2014 Kia Soul —3/6/2018 8:45 PM

Just bought a front wheel kit for my Soul. The manufacturer actually sent 3 rotors but the brake clips did not fit, 1/4" too wide for the stock calipers so I had to re-use the old ones. The replacement clips they sent were the same as the first ones. Hopefully this won't be an issue later on in their life. So far so good as far as performance. I put a set on my 2006 Titan back in November and was forced to use the old clips for this one as well due to them being crushed due to poor packaging.

Powerstop Brake Systems

Reviewed By Leo F (Baltimore, MD) Reviewed for a 2013 Kia Sportage —3/5/2018 8:02 AM

I have updated both my truck (Ram 3500) and my car (Kia Sportage) with the Powerstop rotors and pads. And to be honest, the Powerstop is a lot better than the original braking systems from the factory. They stay a lot cooler and produce a lot less dust than standard breaking systems. I really only have a couple of complaints. You can hear the pads digging into the slots and holes during had braking. And, the little set screw holes on the right side rotors were drilled in the wrong location.
