Hawk Superduty Brake Pads Reviews

Awesome Stopping Power

Reviewed By Kevin R (CUMMING, GA) Reviewed for a 1997 Lexus LX 450 —8/5/2013 8:46 PM

Quite honestly these are the best brake pads ever. They have amazing grip when compared to OEM Lexus pads. One could even say these are overkill if you don't tow. But us car guys always go for overkill. 10x better than Chinese crap. Buy them. OTHER REVIEWS STATED THAT THEY HAD TO FILE DOWN THEIR BRACKETS TO FIT THEM.. DO NOT DO THIS, THESE PADS ARE DESIGNED WITH BUILT IN BRACKETS SO PUTTING YOUR FACTORY BRACKETS ON IS TOTALLY INCORRECT INSTALLATION. Good luck guys.

The brake pads are quiet, 1 step above regular pads. I havent pushed them hard yet to see a big difference. Time will tell.

Also, the passenger side rear rotor had a chip in the metal on the backside, and some remaining metal was left from where I assume it was forged, I had to grind that off. When installing the brake pads on the front passenger's side wheel, I had to sand them
