Power Stop Z23 Brake Kit Reviews

exact fit for 98 mark viii lsc

Reviewed By t. jason w (Strasburg, PA) Reviewed for a 1998 Lincoln Mark VIII —8/10/2013 5:09 AM

Purchased this kit for a 98 mark viii lsc. Shipping was fast and replacing was easy. Hardest part was removing old rotors that were siezed..had to hammer them off. Once the old ones were off, installation was easy. Installed rotor, new ceramic pads, and finished installation. Having a 1/2 inch drive impact wrench made it much easier to break free rusted bolts. Over all these pads and rotors are a good buy. I will be purchasing the rear set when the time comes.

Good brake kit

Reviewed By kyle w (ROYAL OAK, MI) Reviewed for a 2004 Dodge Ram —5/23/2016 4:59 PM

I finally got fed up with cheap brake kits and decided to get a decent set. So far so good, everything arrived as described as usual from auto anything. Break in process was pretty quick (going back and forth in a 20 foot driveway a dozen times, lots of vibration during break-in). Stopping ability is phenomenal compared to crappy kits. I only did the front and when the back is ready i will use ebc again for sure. As long as they last a long time i will be completely satisfied.

Nice pads/rotors, so far

Reviewed By Karl G (Yorktown, VA) Reviewed for a 2011 GMC Yukon XL —5/19/2016 8:53 PM

They look nice. I put the sport rotor and yellow pads on my yukon 4wd for fun. The existing brakes worked fine, but I wanted to mix things up a little. Not hard to install (no clips though). The first 2 miles.... grinding, crunching, squealing, but then the black finish was suddenly gone and they sounded smooth. You can hear the windy-sound of them. They work as good as the originals, but I have not tested them (the instructions call for a 1000 mile break-in period. What's that all about?)
