PHOENIX V12 DIY BRAKE BLEEDER KIT

Reviewed By martin t (UPLAND, CA) Reviewed for a 1970 MG MGB —7/31/2012 8:42 PM

THE KIT ARRIVED PROMPTLY. AFTER READING THE INSTRUCTIONS, SEVERAL TIMES, IT WAS ALMOST SELF EVIDENT THAT IT WAS GOING TO WORK TO BLEED MY CLUTCH SLAVE CYILINDER ON A 1970 MGB GT. THE HARDEST PART WAS JACKING UP THE CAR AND PUTTING IN PLACE THE JACK STANDS. IT TOOK SLIGHTLY MORE THAN 10 MINUTES TO OPEN THE BLEEDER AND PRESSURE THE CLUTCH SYSTEM FROM THE SLAVE CYLINDER.

Great Performance Brakes!

Reviewed By Christopher C (SANTA ANA, CA) Reviewed for a 2014 Ford Fiesta —5/22/2016 11:18 AM

These brakes surprised me when I first got them and broke them in, I was not expecting quality braking from the get go, but these brakes delivered and only got better after the 500mi break in period. I definitely recommend on getting these brakes.

Nice pads/rotors, so far

Reviewed By Karl G (Yorktown, VA) Reviewed for a 2011 GMC Yukon XL —5/19/2016 8:53 PM

They look nice. I put the sport rotor and yellow pads on my yukon 4wd for fun. The existing brakes worked fine, but I wanted to mix things up a little. Not hard to install (no clips though). The first 2 miles.... grinding, crunching, squealing, but then the black finish was suddenly gone and they sounded smooth. You can hear the windy-sound of them. They work as good as the originals, but I have not tested them (the instructions call for a 1000 mile break-in period. What's that all about?)
