StopTech Slotted Brake Rotors Reviews

These rotors are the best street performance rotors available and for the money. After having and tracking my 1st set for 2 years, there was still 45 thousandths left on them with no cracking. They just started to develop a flutter but I used them hard.

Improvement over OEM

Reviewed By Jaime G (OCEANSIDE, CA) Reviewed for a 2005 Mazda 3 —3/3/2015 8:12 AM

I replaced my original factory pads with 160K miles on them with these and I chose them mostly out of price and less for performance, and it claimed to be quiet. They are quiet and very easy to modulate with excellent feel all the way to the limit. I was pleasantly surprised. I have driven about 300 miles and they are quiet if a bit dirty but still very liveable for daily commuters. A definite worthy upgrade from the OEM pads.

2012 Mazdaspeed 3 61,000 miles.

Replaced the front rotors and pads. I went with the semi-metallic for greater stopping power. Installation was easy, pads fit great, rotors were also a great fit. After 100 miles and bedding of the pads I am pleased. I am impressed with the feel. They're very easily modulated and give nice feedback. They bite consistently and don't have the sudden jolt as the OEMS. OEM Rotors and Pads would've cost twice this price and these do almost the same job albeit with their own character.
