EBC Sport Rotors Reviews

Nice upgrade from OEM

Reviewed By Nicholas S (Loma Linda, CA) Reviewed for a 2006 Mazda 6 —5/21/2009 9:17 PM

Well my factory rotors warped twice in under 30k miles with my spouse doing most of the daily driving. This was getting annoying as the OEM setup is a pain to keep pulling apart. The EBC rotors and Green Stuff pads have performed awesome thus far! Greater stopping power and a much better feeling knowing that if I really have to grab the binders I can stop with confidence.

Much better than stock equipment

Reviewed By Johnnie C (LAKELAND, FL) Reviewed for a 2008 Chevy Corvette —5/1/2014 5:35 AM

The stock rotors and calipers (with race pads equipped) were not providing enough stopping power for the Corvette Z06 on the Sebring raceway. The StopTech kit comes with street pads, so I ordered StopTech's SR32 race pads to use although the pad shape is a common one available from many different vendors. Regarding slotted vs. drilled rotors: The StopTech engineer said that drilled is for show; slotted is for the track. It's like I am driving a different car! Very happy!

Need more guidance

Reviewed By John M (OCALA, FL) Reviewed for a 1989 Ford Mustang —10/26/2013 4:37 AM

Overall, the kit is excellent. All parts that are needed for normal install were there and easy to install with thier directions. I believe that they need to make people with mods done to cars, more aware of some potential problems, like in my case with a cam that will not create the vacuum needed. They do sell vacuum pumps, but don't tell you ahead of time. Almost like they are afraid to tell, in thinking that customers might change mind if they add up cost ahead of time.
