I installed these with Red Stuff pads. I had OEM brakes before that, and rotors started to vibrate although they were thick enough and pads were just half way worn out. I drive very spirited, especially on tiny, curvy roads. I figured for my style of driving I will need something stronger. I changed rotors due to issue with my calipers, but after 35K they looked very decent, I would say they could last two Red Stuff pads sets. They have good looks, no rusting, no noise during driving.

Not sure what the noise problem people are complaining is about, but after the break in of my brake pads/rotors, I feel the stopping power on my car has increased. It was my first time buying new rotors/brake pads, but now that I have tried them, I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again.
