Hawk HPS on A Miata

Reviewed By David A W (Corona, CA) Reviewed for a 1994 Mazda Miata/MX-5 —12/22/2010 1:42 PM

I am on my second set of HPS pads. I do some street driving but mostly us the car for AutoX. I went from cheap brakes pads that cracked in the first 3 autoX sessions to these. These seem to fit a low budget with good performance. I purchased them from Autoanything and got the front and rear for about $20 more than GoMiata was charging for the front only. I have not experienced any brake fade with these at all (cant say that with the previous brand). It's nice to stop when you want to!!!

best for price

StopTech are best brake products for the price. Better than stock and cheaper than other "race" pads.

Tight fit

Reviewed By Earl H (CHATTANOOGA, TN) Reviewed for a 2013 Mazda Miata/MX-5 —8/12/2014 11:55 AM

Very tight fit. I may have to either grind a little bit off the covers off or buy the 3 mm spacers. After careful installation, I just could not get the required spacing between the covers and the rims. However, they do look very nice. I also think they are a little expensive.
