My brakes are quiet again

Reviewed By Frank A (BRONX, NY) Reviewed for a 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer —10/17/2015 12:27 PM

My original brakes were making noises as the inner pad had no more padding, replaced them with these and quiet. I would say these are the same as what I'm use to.

Ultimate Brake Pads

Reviewed By Andrew L (Pittsburgh, PA) Reviewed for a 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer —3/9/2007 5:47 AM

I really enjoy the increased stopping power from switching to EBC Ultimax Pads. These pads "bite" much quicker then the old Bendix pads or OEM pads, even when they were new. Only about 1000 miles on the pads, so longevity and rotor wear are unknown. Not nearly as dusty as the old Bendix or OEM pads. I used EBC pads once before on a Ford Aerostar and it chewed through them in 10k miles. But I think it was due to the poorly designed braking system on that vehicle, not the pads. I have used Hawk pads as well with good results. If you enjoy driving, want increased stopping power, and desire the best for your car, these are a fast upgrade in braking feel. ( If you drive a bit hard, the EBC Green are probably better for you.

Wife's 2010 Ford Fusion

Reviewed By Adrian A (EL PASO, TX) Reviewed for a 2010 Ford Fusion —2/1/2016 4:25 PM

I had time with the original brake pads, still had padding, but I was not going to let me wife drive 20 miles one way to work. I decided on these brake pads for the reviews and price, what a payoff, they work really well. A little longer to put on then expected, seems the 2010 Ford Fusion has more parts than an other car just to put brake pads. All in all very satisfied, you can tell the difference in stopping distance and power, thanks.
