They good out of the box. One of my rotors had some corrosion or a spot where the zinc coating didn't take. The braking is smooth and quiet. They do have less overall braking power than my stock pads & rotors but you can adjust for this. I bought this kit to prevent warping. I ride pretty normal, non-aggressive, and never go to a track. I do have hills in my daily commute. I've only put about 400 miles on so we'll see.

First off, wow. I've used upgraded rotors before (powerstop), and have generally been disappointed. The build quality of these rotors are outstanding and they really look great! Paired with yellowstuff pads up front and greenstuff pads out back, my Titan stops on a dime. With 250 miles on them so far, they put out a lot of dust (may just be break in coating). Given the braking performance, I would highly recommend these rotors as part of your next brake upgrade.
