Brakes are awesome. Stop quicker and quieter.

In the old days, ceramic was bad news and everybody knew they destroyed rotors. Well, that's probably not true any more. Turned my rotors and used Hawk ceramic pads on my 02 Maxima. Quieter, less dust and better braking. Just plain better. Threw out my "lifetime pads" receipt from NAPA. I don't want that junk anymore. Install was easy. Strange orange grease made the brackets slide nicely. 500 miles later, I am impressed.

These were bought primarily to quiet my lead-footed wife's complaints about a "shimmie" in the steering wheel while braking. She has a knack for warping brake rotors on her 4,400 lb mini-van. They went on easy and fit exactly. I'll report back in six months on whether she's managed to warp these.
