EBC Brake Kits Reviews

Good decision

Reviewed By Rick C (Champaign, IL) Reviewed for a 2009 Nissan Maxima —10/26/2016 9:06 PM

I purchased the EBC Redstuff and premium rotor package for my daughters Maxima. It has only been a few hundred miles but I am pleased so far. The car brakes quickly but the "brake in" coating still produces dust. I expect the brakes to be dust free once that coating is worn away. THe EBC brand has a good reputation and I am hopeful that the quality will be every bit as good as expected. This is the 3rd vehicle I have installed Redstuff on and so good so far.

EBC Yellow Stuff Brake Pads Reviews

Ebc yellow stuff for 2011 maxima

Reviewed By Fabian O (BROOKLYN, NY) Reviewed for a 2011 Nissan Maxima —8/20/2016 8:30 AM

I had the red stuff prior to these, they lasted about 2 years, I combined them with stop tech cross drilled rotors and they worked pretty well, good stopping power and very little fade if any. I drive pretty aggressively so I wanted to make sure I could stop when needed. The yellow stuff are just as good. Expect some dust during break in period as well as noise when getting off the break when the pads are cold. I don't mind the noise though because these things grab pretty good.

EBC Rotor review

Reviewed By Donny C (Crumpler, NC) Reviewed for a 2013 Nissan Maxima —1/23/2016 10:17 AM

These rotors are everything one could want in a rotor. Excellent quality. I live in the Appalachian mountains of NC. Stock breaks just don't hold up with the constant breaking. I paired these up with the EBC Red pads. The breaking from 60 to 100 mph is excellent but seems to be a little light on slow speed breaking. I paired the Hawk pads with these rotors on my Honda Accord EXL and I think I like them better. These are performance rotors and should be used accordingly.
