Superb Performance Rotors and Solution to Rotor Issues

Reviewed By Linda L (Dauphin, PA) Reviewed for a 2001 Pontiac Firebird —2/12/2018 4:25 AM

This is the second set of Power Stop front rotors for my 2001 Trans Am. The first set had approximately 115k miles on them with no noticeable change when braking. I decided to change them as part of needing new brakes because of the deal that was offered and the mileage on them. Before Power Stop, solid rotors would start to warp due to heat in about 25k miles and need milled; by 50k miles they needed replaced. Power Stop solved the issue. I would recommend them to anyone having similar issues.

Stop on a dime!

Reviewed By Mark P (Oro Valley, AZ) Reviewed for a 2004 Pontiac GTO —1/4/2018 7:39 AM

This is my second set of these rotors. I've been using them for years together with Yellow Stuff brake pads, and the difference between these and the OEM brakes on my GTO is unbelievable! Shortly after changing brakes, I found myself in an emergency braking situation, and I KNEW I was going to hit the car in front of me, based on my stopping distance with the OEM brakes. To my surprise, I stopped well short of the other car. The brake pads are very important in this equation.

Tim D

The kit was a good fit as all parts were there to do the job correctly. Rotors were true and the pads fit well. Key is to clean the caliper and bracket of rust and debris so the new clips go on and pads move well. Also clean and grease the caliper pins. I'll be using Autoanything again for my next project!
