Replaced calibers on 2003 Pontiac grand prix GTP

Reviewed By Tom J (Portland, OR) Reviewed for a 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix —3/30/2018 2:12 PM

I like the price and the delivery time but one of the calibers had a bolt that was slightly cross threaded and created more work for me to fix it. The problem bolt connects the 2 pieces of the caliber together, I had to clean the bolt threads and retrace the female side with a tap. Other than that, everything else turned out OK.

Superb Performance Rotors and Solution to Rotor Issues

Reviewed By Linda L (Dauphin, PA) Reviewed for a 2001 Pontiac Firebird —2/12/2018 4:25 AM

This is the second set of Power Stop front rotors for my 2001 Trans Am. The first set had approximately 115k miles on them with no noticeable change when braking. I decided to change them as part of needing new brakes because of the deal that was offered and the mileage on them. Before Power Stop, solid rotors would start to warp due to heat in about 25k miles and need milled; by 50k miles they needed replaced. Power Stop solved the issue. I would recommend them to anyone having similar issues.

Stop on a dime!

Reviewed By Mark P (Oro Valley, AZ) Reviewed for a 2004 Pontiac GTO —1/4/2018 7:39 AM

This is my second set of these rotors. I've been using them for years together with Yellow Stuff brake pads, and the difference between these and the OEM brakes on my GTO is unbelievable! Shortly after changing brakes, I found myself in an emergency braking situation, and I KNEW I was going to hit the car in front of me, based on my stopping distance with the OEM brakes. To my surprise, I stopped well short of the other car. The brake pads are very important in this equation.
