A good brake pad, really have a hard bite when new, we have yet to break them in yet, but they sure seem like a great pad.

The Grand Am is factory equipted with under sized disk brakes. I could not slide a tire if I had too with factory brakes. Red Stuff brake pads give you the best posible braking. 200% better than factory. I also pull a 1000 lb. boat so stopping power is a must. Brake dust is average. No fade, no squeeking. I'm on my third set. I recomend these for aggressive stopping. (Green Stuff is more durable but not as aggressive)

These do a relatively good, consistent job at repeatedly slowing a heavy car during high speed sessions that require constant threshold braking, without fade. Lots of dust in regular everyday driving but at least there is no noise during abrasive braking (no transfer film) mode. For daily driving though ceramic pads like akebonos will suffice.
