Far Better Than OEM

Reviewed By Chase M (Briarcliff Manor, NY) Reviewed for a 1999 Saab 9-3 —9/17/2008 9:20 PM

I bought these pads over the "greenstuff" pads. I was looking for serious initial bite, but when they are cold they have slightly better than OE stopping power-slightly. However, when they have warmed up, there is a non-linear gripping ability when you get past "lightly" braking-a nice "there is the PERFORMANCE". They are good pads, they dont dust as much as OE and are quieter too. Though, the people at Mavis who put them in botched the job I should've and could've done myself. So, there were initial issues-some of which i'm still trying to see whether they bear future gremlins.

Much better stopping power for less than Factory pads!

Reviewed By Chris B (lexington, KY) Reviewed for a 2010 Toyota Tundra —4/19/2015 2:02 PM

Installed both F&R on a 2010 Tundra. They were less expensive than going with OEM Toyota Pads. With running other Hawk pads on weekend racers, I'm was expecting a little added noise, but am happy to say they don't make a peep. Braking distance has also decreased, and pedal feel is solid. If you are doing this on a 2007+ Tundra on the front, make sure you buy the hardware kit! If you have never removed the caliper pins, get ready for some added fun.
