I purchased these brakes for my '99 SAAB 9-3. It has a stage tune and an upgraded turbocharger amongst many things. Because of this, I rely heavily on my brakes to be able to slow me down when I do end up pushing the car to its limits. The original brakes on the vehicle were a set of simple ceramics from a local mechanic, cheap and unreliable, they worked horribly when hot and the stopping range was in all practical situations, double than the EBCs I got. I got the Ultimax 2 rotors with Red Stuff Pads, Front Set and they have worked wonderfully, even when hot. The stopping range was drastically reduced. These brakes go past being just a safety feature, I now feel more secure in driving this vehicle in any place, and any situation. The only downside I would add about these brakes, and especially these pads is the accumulation of brake dust. Brake Dust is a healthy sign of good brakes, and if you don't mind cleaning it up when it gets on the wheels, it's no big deal. For new purchasers, be aware of a one to three day 'braking in' period, and that these brakes will perform even better when already warm or hot (note: they perform great when cold too, however). Other than that, these are amazing brakes and I'm glad I bought them. I plan on purchasing the rear set of these same brakes for my 9-3 once they need changing as well, and will review on whether or not they impress as much as these did.
