EBC Red Stuff Brake Pads Reviews

Jim Baran 1987 SAAB 900S-Sven

Reviewed By Jim B (LITHONIA, GA) Reviewed for a 1987 Saab 900 —9/8/2016 9:52 AM

Fast delivery, good price, looks great in my red calipers, and once broken in work well, little dust. HOWEVER, there is one (two) issue with installation of the front pads only. The holes in the 'ears' that receive the forks that hold the pads in place are not only JUST holes, slots are needed for correct brake function, but those holes are about 3mm to small to even receive the forks. I had to drill out and elongate these pilot holes into slots so the pads had enuf 'play' for proper operation.

Great Value

You cannot beat the value from this brake kit. I am DIY'er and had no trouble with the kit. Everything appears to be good quality and I'm very satisfied about 150 mi into the new brakes. AutoAnything was prompt about shipping and everything was as promised.

Great Ceramic Brake Pads That Work Silently And Effectively

Reviewed By Shun Y (FREMONT, CA) Reviewed for a 2014 Mazda 6 —12/5/2016 5:16 PM

I paired these suckers with StopTech Slotted Brake Rotors in the front, and I'm happy to say that I love these. I cannot hear anything from these pads, only some squeak when I first installed them but disappeared after a couple of days. Like some of the other reviewers said these do take some time to warm up, not that they don't have grip while cold, but you can feel a slight difference in HOW they grip before and after being warmed up.
