"These pads are about the same level of performance as my 06 Subaru STi's stock Brembo pads. They do stop the car from 170mph without falling apart. I have had them absolutely smoldering a few times from spirited back road driving, and their bite suffered. My car is running 400+whp so it can eat pads rather quick." —James M from Mentor, OH bought a StopTech Street Performance Brake Pads for a 2006 Subaru Impreza.
"Driving an STi usually means quick bursts of acceleration. Deceleration is just as important! Plenty of spirited driving with equal braking, an the end result will still leave ur wheels just ask clear as if u washed em. Love these pads, don't think I will by any other brand or material!" —Lui W from Cutler Bay, FL bought a Power Stop Z26 Extreme Brake Pads for a 2006 Subaru Impreza, STi.
"These brake pads are very good. No fading at the track. Dust generating is about he same as the OEM pads. The last time I checked, the OEM pads are actually more expensive than these. Will probably be using these as the replacement from now on." —Frank L from Upper Chichester , PA bought an EBC Yellow Stuff Brake Pads for a 2006 Subaru Impreza.
"I've been through stock, Green Stuff and other brands, and I have found I like Hawk Pads the best. They are quiet, clean, and last. The rear warning metal on the pads for the WRX are a little different than stock, so you cant drop them in without taking the caliper off (at least that I've found) Not a deal breaker for me overall. I would recommended these pads." —Matthew V from Jacksonville, FL bought a Hawk Performance Ceramic Brake Pads for a 2006 Subaru Impreza.
"Havent tracked the car with these pads yet- but so far on the street, much better initial bite than the stockers they were replaced with. Quieter also- cant hear them dragging ever so slightly as the OEM pads did.
With a discount- these are a good value.
