Posi Quiet Ceramic Brake Pads Reviews

So easy to install, you saved me a bundle!

Reviewed By Joseph B (The Woodlands, TX) Reviewed for a 2007 Toyota 4Runner —1/26/2015 5:28 AM

I was at the dealership for a leaking seal on my front differential. The tech noticed while he had my front wheels were off, that the pads were down to less than 3mm. They wanted $200 to do the job. I declined. I bought these, did it myself in about an hour. Only special tool I needed was a c-clamp to push back the calipers. Super easy install, all parts included. Super quiet and great stopping power.

I love it - easy to install - looks good

I installed this with the cable for my Toyota 4Runner over my lunch period. It looks sharp and was easy to install. I used it that very weekend to carry an Forest River r-pod - weighed about 2800lbs - and it worked great. Good deal from AutoAnything - glad I got one.

Just a few air bubbles still in system

Reviewed By John G (Crofton, MD) Reviewed for a 2003 Toyota 4Runner —3/21/2011 5:18 AM

I found the connections easy, but I did see a few stray bubbles getting into the clear area where the fluid accumulates before you squeeze the trigger to push it forward--I didnt do a good job being careful to keep air away from outbound nozzle--didn't expect to see any air, so I assume my connection at the bleed fitting was loose? Tried pressure and vacuum bleeding, same results...still had to bleed with two people in the end. Mine didn't want to snap all the way back, so maybe that is where the air cam from--felt like plunger was sticking. Was really good for draining the reservoir instead of a turkey baster though.
