Phoenix Systems V-12 Reverse Brake Bleeder Kit Reviews

Just a few air bubbles still in system

Reviewed By John G (Crofton, MD) Reviewed for a 2003 Toyota 4Runner —3/21/2011 5:18 AM

I found the connections easy, but I did see a few stray bubbles getting into the clear area where the fluid accumulates before you squeeze the trigger to push it forward--I didnt do a good job being careful to keep air away from outbound nozzle--didn't expect to see any air, so I assume my connection at the bleed fitting was loose? Tried pressure and vacuum bleeding, same results...still had to bleed with two people in the end. Mine didn't want to snap all the way back, so maybe that is where the air cam from--felt like plunger was sticking. Was really good for draining the reservoir instead of a turkey baster though.

Works great despite feeling cheap.

Reviewed By Michael H (APPLE CREEK, OH) —8/26/2014 3:20 AM

I'm pleasantly surprised to say this thing does a great job! It feels light and cheap in your hand, and upon unblocking I was worried. But after using it on a system that is notoriously difficult to pedal bleed, I am a happy camper. While it can be used by yourself, it is still handy to have a helper watch the master cylinder for overflow. Great product!

bleed screw remover that really works

Reviewed By Dave H (Fremont, OH) —5/21/2014 3:36 AM

I had a bleeder screw that I been trying everything to break it loose. almost was ready to buy a new caliper, but I figure that id try this tool out first. I connected to an air hammer put the socket on, and put it to work , within 30 seconds it broke it loose, this tool works awesome!!!
