EBC Green Stuff Brake Pads Reviews

Green stuff pads

This is my second set. I have a 2003 Tacoma with which I have had brake problems from the get go. It seems the cheap stuff I was buying at the auto store was the issue. I went with EBC slotted rotors and the green stuff pads...huge difference. I have only gotten about 25-30k out of the first set of pads with some uneven wear, but I'll take it compared to some of the issues I've had before such as constant warping of the rotors. Anyway, in my opinion, EBC has some quality stuff.

Hawk LTS Brake Pads Reviews

Smooth, reliable, quiet stops for reasonable price.

I bought the Hawk Performance LTS brake pads to go with Roto Tech cross drilled and slotted rotors. They shipped out faster than first estimated and arrived on time. I had a shop install it all since I was also replacing calipers too. Followed the break in instructions and had no problems. Have improved stopping power that is both quiet and smooth. I live in a hilly area and was wearing out pads and warping the factory rotors within months of having them done. I would recommend this to anyone living in similar area and if you have a 4 wheel drive truck with larger wheels and tires.

Power slot Cryo on Tacoma

Reviewed By Keith D (Phoenix, AZ) Reviewed for a 2003 Toyota Tacoma —8/3/2007 7:28 PM

After putting a supercharger+7th injector kit on my tacoma, I warped the factory rotors pretty quick. I did my homework and figured these rotors were a good bet for my truck. Put some TRD pads with them. The TRD pads came with a bedding compound (basically, burn the brakes to heat them rotors up, cool down slowly, never stop the vehicle) I did the bedding process on a remote highway. This combination is a success. No warpage, the brakes grab real smooth, no fade that I've noticed. I'm really happy with my purchases. The real test will be when I tow my boat, but I feel confident.
