Brembo rotors for 04 Tacoma Dbl Cab

Reviewed By matthew h (Bend, OR) Reviewed for a 2004 Toyota Tacoma —9/26/2007 5:21 PM

If your tired of your Taco rotors warping prematurely, try these. They have superp stopping ability and improved pedal feel. I went with EBC green pads which are grippy and stable under hard stops. I also recommend manually adjusting your rear brakes every 7000 to 10000 miles. I dont feel the auto adusters work the way they should which leaves the front to carry the load. As a result, they overheat and warp the rotors. You cant go wrong with the Brembo/EBC combo. M Hull/Bend,OR

Way better than stock brakes

Reviewed By Kevin O (Tracy, CA) Reviewed for a 2000 Toyota Tacoma —10/22/2007 10:24 PM

I have a 2000 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 with larger wheels. Braking has always been an issue and I've had several close calls as the brakes would not do their job. I purchased the Brembo slotted rotors and the Hawk HPS Brake Pads based on the recommendations of the friendly folks on the phone from AutoAnything. They work better than expected. The tires groan as I brake hard and I stop much faster- just what I need for an emergency stop. Can't be more happy. Puts the stock Toyota brakes to shame.

I just put these Bear Decela sport rotors on today and the appearance is outstanding. I used Hawk break pads with these rotors and the performance is incredible. There is a huge difference! They are a little pricey but you get what you pay for. I put this on a 2011 Shelby GT500
