Posi Quiet Ceramic Brake Pads Reviews

Installed in July 2009 and the break in is over

Reviewed By Gordon C (Jacksonville, FL) Reviewed for a 2002 Toyota Tacoma —8/22/2009 6:12 PM

I am pleased with the Posi Quiet Brake Pads. I have over 1,000 miles on them. They are on slotted & drilled rotors and the performance is very nice. In the past the SUV would go into ABS braking mode pretty easy. I think that ABS caused a head on collision for my wife do to the stopping delay it causes. It will never happen again because after break in I tried very hard to get the ABS mode to activate. ABS still works well but it only activates when it should before it would come on with every hard stop. I installed rotors & pads with ease in about 3 hours in no rush. There was little noise at first but 30 miles of driving and all was quiet.

The Brakes Stop Here!

Reviewed By David M (LARGO, FL) Reviewed for a 2009 Toyota Tacoma —9/9/2016 5:12 AM

Auto Anything did it again. Great brakes at a super price and easy to install. Matched up with a new set of Toyo P265/70R17 Open Country H/T tires brings new meaning to stop on a dime.

Great Value in a Break Pad

Reviewed By Brian F (HENRICO, VA) Reviewed for a 2011 Toyota Tacoma —2/26/2016 5:21 AM

I only have 200 miles on the pads, so I can't speak to the longevity of this pad. But what I can say is that this pad gives better stopping power than the OEM Toyota pad at about half the cost. If I had purchased the Toyota pads from the dealer, they were charging $118, where as this pad was purchased for $61. It is quiet, no squeals or other noises so far. The brakes have a better feel, and it will stop on a dime. The OEM pads lasted over 65k miles, we'll see if this pad can rival that.
