StopTech Slotted Brake Rotors Reviews

Power slot Cryo on Tacoma

After putting a supercharger+7th injector kit on my tacoma, I warped the factory rotors pretty quick. I did my homework and figured these rotors were a good bet for my truck. Put some TRD pads with them. The TRD pads came with a bedding compound (basically, burn the brakes to heat them rotors up, cool down slowly, never stop the vehicle) I did the bedding process on a remote highway. This combination is a success. No warpage, the brakes grab real smooth, no fade that I've noticed. I'm really happy with my purchases. The real test will be when I tow my boat, but I feel confident.

Everything is good with the brakes. Except I really wonder if they were labeled correctly (L & R) I wanted to call and check, but it was starting to rain, really needed them done and it was in the 40's. They were opposite of any other drilled discs I have ever installed. Just hope I don't have to change. Come the weekend I'll know.

The fittings didn't quite match up with the factory brackets. I had to use a Dremel tool and file to enlarge the bracket holes. Strangely enough a couple of the hose ends fit fine and required no modification to the brackets. There is a bracket on the right driver's side frame and a bracket on the axle - if you
