StopTech Drilled & Slotted Rotors Reviews

Perfect fit, well-packaged, excellent performance.

I found these to be well manufactured, just as described and lightly greased for good shelf life. Removing the grease with some Brakleen always recommended. I also appreciated the handy labeling for which was the Left-side rotor and which was the Right-side.

Good quality, easy to install Power Slot Slotted Rotors

Reviewed By Bryan F (Albany, OR) Reviewed for a 1998 Volvo V70 —5/16/2009 9:55 AM

I purchase a set of these for my wife's '98 V70 Volvo. The Volvo dealer wanted over $500 to replace rotors and pads on the front only. I had the job done in a couple hours for less than half the cost with (I'm sure) better quality parts. AutoAnything had the parts to me in a couple days and the shipping was free! Great service and great pricing! The only caveat is, make sure you follow the bedding-in process well. The rotors come with a cadnium finish which has to be properly worn off. Also, make sure to clean the rotors thoroughly prior to installation.

Smart Upgrade or Maintenance Replacement

Reviewed By jack o (Dallas, TX) Reviewed for a 2004 Volvo V70 —2/20/2009 6:51 AM

My stock rotors warped from "spirited" use, so not only was it time to replace both the pads and rotors as part of normal maintenance. Upgrading to the slotted & dimpled rotors gives my rotors an edge in performance and hopefully durability. Time will tell for sure, but you can't argue with the physics and theory. And as far as price, I say I saved money on the upgrade by doing the replacement myself versus having the shop/dealer do the work.
