EBC Green Stuff Brake Pads Reviews (1 of 300+)

I bought these EBC green stuff brake pads (front and rear) to go with the new ultimax slotted rotors (also by EBC) for my 2004 Murano. The original braking performance on the Murano can be rated as adequate, while this new setup is significantly better. I estimate that my stopping distance is about 20% shorter. However, I cannot attribute this increase in performance solely to the brake pads since new rotors were put on at the same time. I have driven 1000 miles on this new set up, and no problem so far. Braking perfomance seems to get better as more miles are put on, but improvement is also noted as the rotors/pads warm up. Highly recommnended.

Hawk Performance Ceramic Brake Pads Reviews (1 of 160+)

I put on the Hawk performance ceramics on at the same time I upgraded my rotors to DBA 4000XS. So I only know the performance change of the combination rotor/pad switch. It is amazing the car brakes so much better and the pedal feel is so much better. I have 2 Legacy GT wagons and this is my second set of Hawk performance ceramics w/ the DBA rotors the reason I did the second car is because when I drove the car with out the upgraded brakes I truly thought something was wrong with the brakes because the difference is that noticeable. Since my daughter drives one of the cars that is why I had to upgrade her car too. Great product

Posi Quiet Ceramic Brake Pads Reviews (1 of 130+)

I have these pad on my Altima 3.5SE now for over 1,500 miles. While I would still like to have at least 2,000 miles to give a better evaluation it is safe to say that these are EXCELLENT PADS.They are certainly better than the originals. They are quiter and have less dust as the makers claim. The installation was a breeze on my car and I did not resurface the rotors as the dealers were suggesting. If the pad have not scored the rotor it is not necessary to resurface/cut them. The only thing you have to remember is it take about 500 miles to bed in.You would be hard pressed to find a better pad for the price.Wher I am it is $15.00 cheaper than the Nissan pads.I intend to put these on my daughter's 07 Nissan Sentra when the time comes.

StopTech Street Performance Brake Pads Reviews (1 of 10+)

Overall impression of pads so far:Now keep in mind i only have about 40 miles on these pads, but I did go through a pretty good bed in procedure to insure the pad material was transferred over to the rotors. Initial bite:Awesome!! to say the least. All i have to do is rest my foot on the brake and you can feel these pads start to bite the rotor...but its not so much that it jerks you back or anything, but just enough to know the brakes are in control.Control:After the initial bite the response with these pads is well, the best way i can explain it is to be very linear. I def dont have to use as much travel on the pedal to get the car to slow down but its very smooth. However, the harder you press, the more these puppies bite.

Posi Quiet Extended Wear Brake Pads Reviews (1 of 20+)

I ordered these Posi Quiet pads to replace standard Duralast front pads from AutoZone. The Duralast pads had a squeal problem. The Posi Quiet pads have been quiet for 4407 miles so far under all circumstances including long trips on the highway, very long and slow traffic jams, and regular driving around town. The Posi Quiet pads were nicely assembled, very easy to install, and live up to their name for quiet. Stopping power is average--equal to the OEM Toyota pads (the squealing Duralast pads had better stopping power). There are still Duralast Gold (ceramic) pads on the rear disks and they remain in place and quiet.
