StopTech Slotted Rotors Reviews

Reviewed by Benjamin H (Fort Wayne, IN) Reviewed for a 2000 Honda Civic — 2012-01-21 08:06:02

I have a 2000 Honda Civic EX Coupe that I drive very aggressively every time I'm behind the wheel. I put my brakes to the test a lot and I had the Power Slot slotted rotors on for about 6 years before they started warping. I just purchased my second set and I'm hoping that I get that kind of lifetime out of them as well! I did notice that the rotors are finicky about torque on the lug nuts. Typically I torque the rims to about 90-100 ft/lbs and they're good. Much over that and it will feel like you have a warped rotor when stopping. Not sure why it does this...but it does. Overall, I'm VERY IMPRESSED with the Power Slot slotted rotors and I hope that my second set last as long as the first set!

EBC Sport Rotors Reviews

Reviewed by M P (Vienna, VA) Reviewed for a 2012 Chevy Cruze — 2013-01-18 16:48:34

I bought th most recent set for my in-law's Chevy Cruze because I have them on my Eclipse GT and my wife's CRV and they are fantastic. The Eclipse GT has 25,000 miles on them and her CRV has 40,000 miles and they still look nearly new in both cases. I'll never go back to stock rotors or pads. I paired them with Hawk pads on the CRV and with EBC "Green stuff" pads on the Eclipse GT. They are well worth the money: no warping, no cracks, little dust, no chatter and great stopping power.

EBC Ultimax Slotted Rotors Reviews

Reviewed by Laurie S (Belle Fourche, SD) Reviewed for a 2003 Chevy Silverado — 2009-07-23 21:34:44

I purchased the EBC Sport Rotors with the green pads and to date seem to perform well in all situations and especially well during hard braking. A great improvement over stock. The brakes are still producing a fair amount of brake dust but may subside after the pads are broke in. The only time they make noise is when the brake dust has built up and once washed the noise goes away. Overall, I am satisfied and plan on changing my pickup's brakes to the same rotor and the yellow pad because I tow a fair amount.

Power Stop Cross Drilled and Slotted Rotors Reviews

Reviewed by Charles B. J (Mahnomen, MN) Reviewed for a 2011 Jeep Wrangler — 2010-06-29 03:53:52

Thought I'd give these rotors a spin. I drive my Ranger as a Rural Mail Carrier on a part-time basis, so stopping is something to always consider. They work fine, but still retain some of the heat, from being used all day long in the summer months. I like them all in all. I usually change my rotors every 3 years. Good Luck...

DBA 4000XS Series Rotors Reviews

Reviewed by Carlos L (Miami, FL) Reviewed for a 2004 Honda CR-V — 2012-07-31 11:54:57

in the begining i make a mistake buying the disc, thinking is was for the front, and came for the rear, so that bad choice make me order the front disc, and install the one already received. using the EBC green brake pads, i had never imagine that only for changing from stock to DBA, on the rear i will be feel so much the difference on the grip and response. i'm really exciting to install those front disc in combination with the rear to feel the real big difference. i'm really recommend it.

Brembo Sport Drilled Rotors Reviews

Reviewed by Thomas P (New Fairfield, CT) — 2007-08-30 06:39:05

Only a few miles on the rotors but so far they seem to have a lot more power than the stock rotors, of course some of that is shared by the Hawk pads. I've not had to brake hard enough to see if they fade at all but I suspect not; the drilling should help them cool. Great service from AutoAnything, I'll definitely shop here again! Keep up the good work!
