EBC Yellow Stuff Brake Pads Reviews

Lexus IS 250

I bought a pair for the rear brakes and they seem to grab nicely. When I press hard they seem to last quite a bit. So far so good. They do look nice on my car since my calipers are yellow as well.

Hit or miss but more of a miss

Reviewed By Lamar D (Raleigh, NC) Reviewed for a 2012 Toyota 4Runner —3/28/2017 8:28 PM

I am now on my second pair of rotors. I went through the break in process and they were installed by a shop both times. The rotors warped the first time after a matter of 10K miles. I am an Uber driver so they get used, but I don't abuse my brakes. I had the rotors resurfaced and they were good for about 5K miles until they warped yet again. I am now on pair two and they are OK. I would recommend trying something else unless your car is a car you don't drive on a daily basis.

Green Means Stop

Reviewed By Ronald A (Franklin, TN) Reviewed for a 2013 Chevy Equinox —3/28/2017 8:26 PM

Ebc Green stuff pads all the way around. Ebc slotted dimpled rotors in the front...and guess what EBC doesn't make rear rotors for my car--ODD (one star deduct for this)! So, I put Hawk slotted drilled rotors on the rear. Well,...uh...it stops and yes, of course it brakes a whole better. Not sure how good they are yet...gives you confidence though.
