Centric C-TEK Drilled & Slotted Brake Rotors Reviews

Starting rusting in the first week....

Reviewed By William H (PANAMA CITY, FL) Reviewed for a 2007 Nissan 350Z —8/25/2015 7:00 AM

They looked beautiful coming out of the box. Fit perfectly,no issues with installation. I paired these rotors with EBC Red pads on a 2006 Nissan 350Z. Everything was cool until I noticed three days later small rust spots forming on the rotor hats. I suppose I will have to remove at some point in the near future and clean and apply paint. I find it very annoying that CENTRIC would build a beautiful rotor but fail to put a protective coating on the material. Silly,....

So far, so good...

Reviewed By Michael F (HOBOKEN, NJ) —8/24/2015 8:35 PM

I just installed these rotors 2 weeks ago with a soft ceramic pad. My 2004 Toyota Tacoma rides much smoother and I do not experience any pulsating while braking.

Don't do it!

Reviewed By Benjamin R (COHOES, NY) —8/23/2015 9:01 AM

Wanted the best I could get. Figured these with the Hawk ceramic pads would be it. Waited 3 weeks for them, then paid my mechanic $50 to install. Was surprised to feel flutter at highway speed braking. Figuring it couldn't be these brakes, perhaps a front end issue, I paid dealership $55 to inform me that my rotors were .004 and .005 out of round. After searching for a week, I finally found a place with the proper cutting tool to resurface drilled/slotted rotors. Tab for that $107 with the tax.

About Colorado Springs Brake Rotors

The components of your vehicle’s brake system are very delicate. Those components are designed to deliver average stopping capabilities, which is fine for commutes that involve very minimal stops along the way, but bad for those commutes that require you to constantly switch back and forth between the accelerator and brake pedals. Order a Colorado Springs brake disc from AutoAnything for each wheel and transform your ride’s stopping capabilities from stock to stellar and increase performance and safety. Enjoy AutoAnything’s Free Shipping and 1-Year, Lower Price Guarantee with every purchase.
