About Lund
Back in 1965, a wily entrepreneur named Allan W. Lund decided to become his own boss and founded Lund Industries, Inc. Mr. Lund was quite an accomplished designer, and he could craft with fiberglass the way Picasso painted with blues. When 1974 rolled around, Lund built his first automotive accessory, an exterior sun visor for a heavy-duty truck. The rest, as they say, is history. In the decades following, Lund would grew to become the name in aftermarket automotive accessories.
Though sun visors were their breakthrough product, Lund's imagination started to run wild in the 1980's. They followed their visors with a lineup of cab spoilers, but they would not stop there. Lund began branching out into other untapped product lines, including bug deflectors, window vents, running boards and tonneau covers. An acquisition or two later, Lund now owns a number of international brands, including Nifty, Trenz, DeflectaShield and more.
