Back in 1965, a wily entrepreneur named Allan W. Lund decided to become his own boss and founded Lund Industries, Inc. Mr. Lund was quite an accomplished designer, and he could craft with fiberglass the way Picasso painted with blues. When 1974 rolled around, Lund built his first automotive accessory, an exterior sun visor for a heavy-duty truck. The rest, as they say, is history.
