Had bug shields on all my cars and this is my first EGR shield. I think it looks good - easy to install although the instructions could have been better. Hoping that it keeps the bugs and stone chips down to a minimum like all the rest of my shields were able to do. I considered it a good investment and the cost was lower than I would have expected. One thing I like is that it doesn't fold under the hood so leaves and water won't tend to accumulate. Did not need to drill at all - only needed to remove two plastic clips for the screw inserts. The 3M paint protector tape kept me from scratching the hood when installing the clips.

This is my second EGR Bug Deflector. The first has been on our F-150 for years and greatly reduced stone chips. Very easy to install on the Cruze. Two white plastic back plates broke (split open)during initial installation. Autoanything sent replacements immediately. Great Service! The four black back plates installed quickly. EGR fits the Cruze quite well and, i think, looks good, blending in nicely with the black split grill. As we travel on gravel roads often, Bug Deflecotrs are highly recommended: saves the hood from stone chips. Highly recommend the EGR for Cruze owners traveling on gravel roads.

The bugshield had a small scratch on the left hand side near the top of the shield.. The directions were poor at best, you need to write them out, not just show diagrams. Matt Schultz.
