Street Scene Front Bumper Covers Reviews

Mostly what I expected

Reviewed By Kenneth H (Longmont, CO) Reviewed for a 1999 Chevy Tahoe —10/4/2007 1:58 AM

Any time you're buying a "plastic" product, it's a little tough to swallow that it costs more than $200. However, the product is well designed and is made of a thick "solid" urethane, and includes all necessary hardware and reasonably good directions. A couple of minuses-- first, the wrap-around runs a little long on the passenger side. This is when properly fitted to a factory bumper. The driver side has a good fit on the end, and the center is properly centered on the bumper. It's as if their test bumper was bent slightly on the part that wraps around the side of the vehicle. Second-- stamped conspicuously on one end is a hideous 2" diameter Street Scene logo. This is just plain tacky, and added about 4 hours worth of work and $60 in specialized urethane repair materials for me to eliminate it. If you want to advertise your product, send a sticker with it. Don't emboss your company name smack dab in the middle of a conspicuous visual area. I have no qualms about telling people the product brand and model if they're interested, but I shouldn't be paying to advertise for you. Just plain tacky... and the product almost went back in the box because of it.

FEY Replacement Bumper

Reviewed By Tito M (Espanola, NM) Reviewed for a 2013 Chevy Silverado —1/22/2014 10:53 AM

The bumper was in stock and delivered within 7 days! Unbelievable! The bumper was of high quality (not much different than the original gm bumper). It was an easy install and came with the back up lights, wiring harness, spare tire cover for the lock and even two corner brackets that the original did not come with. The price was affordable and looks great!

WeatherTech BumpStep Hitch Step Reviews

A Very Useful Add-on

Reviewed By David B (Fort Myers, FL) Reviewed for a 2014 Ford F-150 —12/11/2014 4:53 AM

From the get go I found the Weather Teck BumpStep Hitch Step a very useful add-on for my truck. It helped getting access to my loads I was transporting but also gave a sense of security when backing-up in tight places knowing that if another vehicle was touched the resulting damages would be minor or even not at all.
