"Overal happy with the product. They could have spent more time polishing in the weld area between the tubes. However, did not know that the Smittybilt Tubular Jeep Bumpers come from China. I believe that is something that needs to be disclosed to the customer." —James K from Grants Pass, OR bought a Smittybilt Tubular Bumpers for a 2004 Jeep Wrangler.
"Looks great. Very easy to install. Fit the frame perfect. Really a heavy duty bumper compared to the tinsel OE bumper. I like the matte black finish - will hide minor blemishes." —Craig S from Reno, NV bought a Body Armor Front Bumpers for a 2004 Jeep Wrangler.
"The XRC bumper is of excellent quality, looks fantastic, and was a breeze to install - took less than one hour to remove the old one and install new one. Took over two hours to re-run fog lamp wiring. Gave me jeep an entire new look and have recieved many comments on good it looks." —Gary W from Grand Island, NY bought a Smittybilt XRC Bumpers for a 2004 Jeep Wrangler.
"Ordered my front tubular bumper and it arrived in 2 days using standard shipping which was phenominal. I looked up how to install one and after learning I would need a breaker bar and a T-55 Torx fitting it was literally 6 bolts to take the bumper off, a 13mm wrench to remove the fog lights, slide off the old bumper and slide on the new one. Nice tabs to re-install fog lights, no additional hardware necessary. 30 minutes and it was done. Looks AWESOME, I highly recommend it." —Chris B from Sunnyvale, CA bought a Smittybilt Tubular Bumpers for a 2004 Jeep Wrangler.
"Nicely built and nice fit. But they are very heavy. About 3 times the weight of stock bumpers." —Roy M from Georgetown, KY bought a Body Armor Front Bumpers for a 2004 Jeep Wrangler.
"seems to be good quality, looks sharp on my jeep.
I was surprised at how easily my stock bumper came off- reading comments from people who had to drill out bolts, break wrenches, etc... None of that. I used some PB Blaster, let em sit for a few minutes, then a 12" breaker bar, and va-voom they were coming right off. Good times!
fitment of the SB was weird- top bolts fit no prob, bottom needs to be drilled out a bit; reading other reviews it appears this is common with SB stuff. No great shakes, just something to note." —Josh D from Cambridge, MA bought a Smittybilt XRC Bumpers for a 2004 Jeep Wrangler.
