I bought the Optima battery for its unique look as well the specs of its performance. I am impressed by both thus far. It was a little short and I needed to use the supplied plastic base. It looks great and matches the red of the engine.

I bought this for the purpose of having a portable jumper for my tractor. The charging circuit on the tractor is flakey and I haven't been able to transport it to have it diagnosed and repaired. A couple of times I have been stranded in the field only to have to drive the truck down to the tractor to jump it. So this portable battery appeared to be the perfect solution. Unfortunately on the first use, the rotating switch that engages the jumper cables didn't work. I repaired it.
