"The installation of the LeBra was very easy, however some of the plastic clips which hold the bra in place have released and will now not hold in place. The clips do not hold once the let loose from the car. This is true on both of the cars which I recently purchased. I have had another brand of bra before and the clips hold. There are also small holes on the clips which I am afraid will cause a problem later with strength of the plastic."

Nice Looks, but Poor Fit and Performance

"I purchased the car bra for our '07 Nissan Altima. Just completed an 800 mile trip with it. The hood portion of the bra fits well. However, the mask portion for the lower front end only fit marginally well. The location of the clips and tabs were well thought out and specific to the '07 Altima. The problem I encountered was the fit around the rear edge of each headlight. A length of approximately 12" that is suppose to lay flat against the fender body behind the headlight. The headlight is mounted such that tabs cannot be inserted between the fender and headlight at this location. LeBra designed a reinforcement strip (stiffener) along the 12" length to help keep the mask in place. (see arrow in my attached photo) This did not work on our Altima. The wind gets underneath this portion of the mask and lifts outward creating a sort of air scoop. Of course this allowed bugs and road grit to be captured and lodged under the mask at these two locations. A call was made to Global Accessories customer service number. It was apparent that this has been an ongoing problem because the rep readily told me to loosen the mask and that it would lay flat against the fender behind the headlights. Wrong answer... The mask, as designed and manufactured, was installed with set amount of tension in the material. There is no tightening or loosening of the mask. Short of using duct tape to hold it down (...again wrong answer...), I don't know how to resolve this problem. Has anyone else encountered the same issue? "

"I mainly purchased this product to cover up some nasty chips and dents on my hood and painted bumper of my commuter car. Installation was quite simple. I did break one of the plastic strap hooks but that was due to me over tightening it. It's holding up quite well in my 86 mile round trip commute."

"I have a 2008 Mustang GT/CS and the LeBra all weather Car Bra fits, but with some issues. One, I think that there should be a cut-out for the license plate holder. I thought that was an option that I checked, but it has a sewn in patch which covers the top half of the license plate and the bottom have is covered by a mesh screen. Not sure about that design. Two, with that situation, I believe that the bra is too tight which makes it very difficult (even with letting it sit in the sun to soften the fabric, for quite some time) to attach the hooks for the wheel well spots. It was done, but a lot more effort than what was indicated in the instructions. Three, I think if that item was fixed in One, then it would fit better all around for the lower half. No issues at all with the top portion for the hood."

"The bra looks good but after having it for a week or so ive noticed that they couldve put a couple more clips on it. notably up top of the bumper where the bumper meets the hood, and along the bottom of the bumper. The first time putting it on, it was rather tough but after the heat gets to it, its rather easy to remove and put back on."

"The bra is for a 2005 SRX and comes in 2 parts. The top part, for the hood, could not be tightened enough with the strams to keep it from flopping around at 40-50+ mph speeds. Bottom works great"

"Overall, I like the LeBra Car Bra, however, it does not seem to fit all of the curves very well especially around the outside by the headlamps. I also notice that it is not even when comparing both sides of the hood (one side actually sits up a bit more than the other)."

"Ordered by phone and was very pleased with the personal service. Paid for expedited shipping and received the front end cover on the date promised. The cover is easy to install following the directions provided, but if you follow these tips it will go on much easier. Open the cover and spread out fully in the sun for about an hour prior to installation. This will make the cover more pliable and allow the various hooks to reach there locations with ease. Before placing the cover on the car, apply a good heavy paste wax to the front end to protect from any moisture that gets underneath. Once installed, this cover fit well, looks good on my dark gray car, and has already saved the paint from several rock chips. Good Product!"
